Projects carried out:

Redesigning the new reception at Twinings Andover.

Redesign of reception area for HPA

Oversee and check the smaller including extensions to burial complexes for the Co-op.

My main strength and passion is in design and detailing. My speciality is in providing Ecological solutions. I have trained in Ecological Architecture during my Post Graduate Diploma in London in 1991-1992.

Chapel conversion Near Tisbury for a London Fashion designer and fashion photographer couple. The design was originally for creating an additional mezzanine floor for an office, enabling the large ecclesiastical windows and allow them to return to their full glory.

Barn conversion near Andover, where an old well that was overfilled and covered up. Converting the barn to habitable space and creating a feature around the well.

Barn conversion in Downton, I was involved with when it was originally converted approximately 22 years ago, the current owners, invited me to provide them with alternatives to the small extension that will be in keeping with the character of the building and loyal to the scale and style.

Design of a new 10 apartments for a shop owner near Salisbury.

Design of a new 2 story extension to accommodate a grand piano and, living room, office and bedroom and en-suite dressing and bathrooms Near Salisbury.

Design of two new dwellings to a Cottage, Near Salisbury to fit on a fan shaped site.

Carrying out surveys on various projects.

Created many presentation layout alternatives of houses from 1 bedrooms up to 5 bedrooms.

Provided architectural plans for a manufacturer of specialist walling system.

Large extension to a Cottage near Tisbury, creating proposals and working specifications for the conversion of the delightful cottage in the heart of Wiltshire. The client, is an expert surveyor and has very high standard and expectations and experience, supervising building alterations.

A large house in Bournemouth, conversion of 5 units property comprising design of conversion into 17 studios. It is at inception / feasibility stage.

Designed and detailed for Planning approval and Building regulations in the South West.

Designed an ecological centre in the New Forest and with the support of local Agenda 21 and Salisbury District Council.  I have designed various alternatives for various possible sites within Salisbury to create an education centre for ecological issues. I have designed the footprint, my group comprising some of my graduates helped survey the site and produce site layout. I was working also on providing a feasibility study and a business plan as the site owner requested.

Contributed to the councils’ green paper on Sustainability, working with Planning officers.

In May - June 2007 a design project for a super-yacht floating hotel for a Royal member. I provided the new alternative design of the super yacht and supervised the creation of 3D model and animation presentation of the 7 star floating hotel.

I was the designer and builder (!) of a 50sq.m. Tantric temple in Wiltshire. The temple has been designed and built in 6 months, two years ago.

Recently on Grand Designs my yoga student Rachel Shiamh, www.quietearth.org.uk , has won the national Ecological category at the Grand Designs Live for the first tallest straw bale house in UK, it is a three story high, self build, it has a yoga centre in the middle floor. the article below illustrate the grace it has, taken from Self build & design magazine. Rachel told me that the interviewer said that it is not a Grand Design but a Humble Masterpiece."!   "The first straw:  Dancer Rachel Shiamh moved back to her native Wales where she has built the UK’s first two-storey load-bearing straw bale house on a beautiful woodland site. She lived on site in a hut for two years before the build, before approaching Amazon Nails, a women’s building team who helped and advised Rachel throughout the project, along with a host of local volunteers...."

Involved in a preparing 3D model for Naim Audio headquarters, factory building and offices.

Head the architectural team.

Write Design  & Access and Sustainability statements for the planning application submissions.
